The Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour is the Episcopal Church in Faribault, MN. It was the original Cathedral of the Diocese of Minnesota and continues to be a Cathedral today. Many groups and individuals interested in the "First Cathedral's" historic significance visit each year. Tours are available during office hours (Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to Noon), after Sunday services and by appointment. Call the office at 507-334-7732. Free brochures on the Cathedral's history are available in the tract racks. Cards and souvenir plates are available for sale. Tours are free, but donations for the Cathedral's upkeep are gratefully accepted. The Cathedral is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
